I’ve just purchased your plugin to try and solve a problem I have – and can’t appear to get it to do what I thought it would. Hopefully, you can help me.
What I want it to do is display ONLY the POSTS from the category or post of the current page i.e. all the child posts (or a number of them).
So, on every page, I would have two widgets that displayed the relative categories (sorted this) and the child posts as a list in the menu. This being dynamic, I would then only every have to focus on the post being in the correct cat.
Please help. Any advice, guidance appreciated.

Currently this plugin does not support displaying both posts and categories on the same page. It uses the current category you are on or page you are on to know which items to display. There is no support for actual “posts” so if you are referring to “posts” and not “pages”, this will not work because “posts” have no children or parents.
Let me know if this is not going to work for you and I will issue a refund.

Yes, I need to display the child posts of a Cat. That’s unfortunate if your plugin doesn’t do this.
If you could issue a refund, then that would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards

Hi Ian,
There has now officially been enough interest in this feature to add it to the upcoming features list. It is slated for version 3.2.0 of PRO. If the meantime, I have created a template-override to get this up and running.
Check out this thread for instructions on making this work.
If you decide the PRO version is now going to work for you, please make a new order to receive a new licence. Your original license is no longer valid due to the refund.

Hello,
I wanted to stop in to let everyone know that version 3.2.0 has officially been released with widget option to allow for displaying assigned posts or custom post types under categories. There are now options in the Category Widget to enable this functionality so filters are no longer required.
Enjoy!
