Change Link Hover Color

Hi Matt – How would I go about updating the a:hover link color? I’ve tried a couple different css methods, but nothing seems to stick. Thank you.

Hi David,

Because the widgets use ids as CSS identifiers they are pretty strict and therefore require ids or a series of tags that create a higher priority to change pre-defined things like colors.

For example, if you widget has the id of #advanced_sidebar_menu-2 you may change the color to yellow using the following CSS

#advanced_sidebar_menu-2 li a:hover { color: yellow !important; }

Give this a try.

#wp-widget-advanced_sidebar_menu-wrap .child-sidebar-menu .children li a:hover, #wp-widget-advanced_sidebar_menu-wrap li a:hover { color: yellow !important; }
