WordPress Saying plugin invalid

Resolved

Requested: 4 years and 9 months ago

Hi There,

I have just upgraded to the Pro version of the plugin, but when I try and install in wordpress (4.9.6) it says that…

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin installation failed.”
Wordpress requested that it be in a zip format so I used yemuzip to do this.  When I tried to do it with the unzipped file it said…
Unpacking the package…
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
Thoughts gratefully received (I’m no wordpress pro I’m afraid).

I have gone to pro as I used to have the sidebar showing all the pages, not just parent child relationship and I need this functionality back.

Thanks for an awesome product

Nic

    Hi Nic,

If the order email you received a link to download the plugin. If you use that link, it should download a zip file which may be uploaded as is without any modifications to the file.

    Here are basic instructions:

    1. Download the file provided in the order email
    2. Go to the WordPress admin “Plugins” page
    3. Click the “Add New” button at the top.
    4. Click the “Upload Plugin” button at the top.
    5. Upload the .zip file you downloaded.
    6. You may then activate it like a normal plugin.

Note: This plugin does require you have the basic version installed and activate.

If you have completed these steps in this way and are still receiving the same error, please let me know and I will email you a copy of the plugin which I will verify manually.

    Hope this helps!

    Mat Lipe
