Hi,
I used you plugin to move the urls from a WordPress Divi site managed on Plesk.
Everything goes well and new urls were created on arcencielrh.com. The new website seems working quite well.
However, the WordPress backoffice collapses and it is now impossible to manage the site properly. (see below in the private section)
Could you help us on that.
Thanks in advance.

Good Morning Thomas,
It appears the domain you have provided does not point to a WordPress site. It appears to be some form of custom PHP site or another PHP framework.
Currently the domain is pointing to 54.38.191.84. Is that the IP address you expect? If you, please double check your server configuration to make sure the virtual host is resolving to the correct directory.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,
In theory, the domain I sent you is the url for the back office of the site.
Unfortunately I have no way to send you a copy of the screen but it seems as the wordpress backoffice is completely broken.
We changed the url as the site needed to be transfer from our hosting where it was for building to another one for publishing.
The old url was http://aec.web-avance-pme.fr/ and the new one which is not yet published http://www.arcencielrh.com
On my Plesk panel, it seems as if the WordPress installation has been withdraw.
Should I reinstall wordpress on the new domain hosting ?

Hi Thomas,
Looks like you just need to point the DNS records to new site. If you change the following records for http://www.arcencielrh.com the site will start working.
It appears your DNS records are hosted with “Gandi” and can most likely be updated there.
I tested changing the records in my local DNS and I was able to access the WordPress site. If you would like to test the site before changing the real domain, a simple way is to use your hosts file. In this case you would add
185.13.64.102 www.arcencielrh.com
to it.Have a great day!

Hello Mat Lipe,
I know that the test is working as I have tested it on a local host basis.
However, I worried about the WordPress back office and theme (Divi) which are not any more existing neither on the old url nor on the new.
Therefore, I am now unable to make any changes on the site…
I use plesk for hosting and managing my websites.
That’s my issue !?

Hi Thomas,
Would it be possible to send me a temporary WordPress administrator account through the Private Information?
I may be able to point you in the right direction if I can see what is going on.
Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Thomas,
It appears there are some invalid characters in both the CSS and JavaScript that is coming from WordPress Core.
You can see the issue being returned:
If the invalid characters are removed the site beings to function properly.
As this plugin does not change any files I can only speculate on how the issue was caused. Most likely when the files where transferred from the old site to the new site, the were transferred using a different encoding which did not understand some special characters.
As these files are part of WordPress Core you may be able to resolve the issue by either updating or re-installing WordPress Core as the files with issues will be replaced.
If you complete a re-install and the issue persists, the next thing to check is the file encoding settings on the server and make sure they are set to “UTF-8”.
The least likely of possibilities is there is a plugin or theme that is somehow filtering the output returned for these files. You may deactivate them one at at time until you find the culprit.
Hope this helps!
