Accordion icons not working in Elementor off-canvas menu

Resolved

Requested: 1 year and 7 months ago

The Advanced Sidebar Menu plugin works perfectly on an ordinary page. That is, the menu opens/closes with the accordian “+” or similar icon correctly.

When it is placed in a popup (as per Elementor’s definition) for the purposes of a tablet off-canvas menu that “+” loads the page rather than opening/closing the accordion.

Look forward to your advice.

    Hi Adrian,

I tracked this down to Elementor taking over the click handlers within it’s popups. The icons generate fine, but they do not trigger the accordion when clicked.

In order for the accordion icons to function inside these types of popups, they must be regenerated after the popup has finished loading. This may be accomplished by adding the following custom JavaScript to your site:

    Have a great day!

    Hello,

Version 8.5.2 of PRO is now available which supports accordions within Elementor Popups. Please update the plugin to the latest version and remove the custom JavaScript.

    Have a great day!
