Sublevel menus not displaying

Resolved

Requested: 3 years and 1 month ago

Hi. I run gomersalstmarys.co.uk and have used your plugin successfully for a number of years.

However, recently the subpages of categories aren’t showing.

As an example, https://gomersalstmarys.co.uk/about-us/policies/data-protection-policy/ should have a long list of policies displayed under the Policies section in the left hand side.

Any thoughts?

    Good Morning Thomas,

I was able to track down the missing levels to the “Maximum level of child pages to display” widget option. It was currently set to 1 which is why only the first level was displaying. I went ahead and set it to “- All -” and now the sub pages are displaying.

My best guess on what happened is a while back (maybe a couple years) we added support to selecting the number of levels to display when “Always display child pages” is not checked. Previously you could only specify the levels when it was checked. Most likely, the widget was set to 1 level, then the plugin was later updated which started honoring the setting.

    Have a great day!

Fabulous. I probably should’ve spotted that myself. I appreciate your time.
