Sidebar widget no longer working

Resolved

Requested: 2 years and 5 months ago

I have sites that are now displaying this message in the sidebar when editing a page instead of the widget that should be showing child pages.

Advanced_Sidebar_Menu_Widget_Page no longer exists.

From the front end is just shows a missing menu.

Can you help please.

    Hi Cherie,

Version 8 made some changes to the some class names which is probably why you are seeing this message. In some rare cases we have seen some page builder plugins or themes (Beaver Builder in particular) which cache the class names in the page content. Typically this can be resolved by clearing the page builders caches.

If you can tell me which page builder you are using, I may be able to help you find the documentation which explains how to flush the caches.

    Have a great day!
