Hi,
we are experiencing some issues with the Advanced Sidebar plugin. Infact in some pages it’s messed up and all the elements of the sidebar are all selected as the current element with bold. In some other pages of the same sidebar it’s working correctly.
You can see here two examples of the same sidebar. In some elements it’s working correctly on other instead all the elements are in bold like all of them are the current element.
Here where is working correctly

Here where is messing up

Can you please help us solving this issue.
Thanks in advance

Hi Giuliano,
I took a look at your site and am unable to find a sidebar menu on the pages you have provided.
Is the sidebar still there?

Hi,
sorry but I didn’t received any notification about your answer and even if I’ve refreshed the page I couldn’t see any answer until today.
You should login to see the sidebar.
Here two images of the sidebar

Hi Giuliano,
It looks like widget directly above the sidebar menu is adding an extra
<strong>
tag to the markup. The widget that appears to be changing the markup is a Text Widget or at least it has the class “textwidget”.I tried to track down the widget by going through you sidebars but there are too many to figure it out. If you can tell which sidebar is actually displaying here (as it is not the same as on the working page) I can look at the widgets to see which one is breaking the styles.
Have a great night!

Hi,
sorry for late response.
The sidebar related to this page is DPIA LIV. BASE.
(BTW there is an issue on the notifications for this request since I didn’t received the update and everytime it appears as not answered)

You can find the Text widget with the strong tag also on the page where the sidebar is working correclty as you can see on the images I’ve pasted

Hi Giuliano,
It appears you have some plugin or theme that is filtering the output of the first widget in that sidebar.
For example, the widget should be displaying this html:
<div class="textwidget"><p><strong>DPIA</strong></p></div>
Instead is it displaying this html:
<div class="textwidget"><p><strong><a aria-describedby="tt" href="https://dptel.imperialida.com/glossary/dpia/" class="glossaryLink cmtt_GDPR" data-cmtooltip="<div class=glossaryItemTitle>DPIA</div><div
class=" textwidget="" custom-html-widget"=""></a><a href="#"><img src="//dptel.imperialida.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/lv-base.jpg" alt="Livello Base"></a></strong></p></div>
This is then throwing off the structure and styles for everything in the sidebar. Although it is most apparent in the sidebar menu, it is not actually related to it.
I see in the markup there is a “cmtooltip” reference. Maybe this is related to some kind of tooltip plugin?
Hope this helps!
