I tracked this down to an issue where the billing email did not match from the subscription to the production permissions in the database. This can happen when a billing emails is changed and the corresponding subscription is changed as well.
I updated the database row to match the current billing email used for your subscription and everything matches now.
The next time your site checks for updates it will receive a valid response and this message will go away.
