Today I did an update for a client, http://domain1.com to https://domain2.com. I found that the last two groups of database tables failed to update and I figured I wanted to understand why. I think it is because in the 4th group is when the system updates the siteurl and homeurl variables in the options table. I think that these two spots should really be the last to get updated as much of the system relies on what is set there in order to function. It was almost like because those two got changed it was not able to continue on the path of modifying the last of the tables.
Now it wasn’t too difficult to log back in and run it a 2nd time but figured I would at least bring this bug to your attention.

Hi Mark,
When you say, “the last two groups of database tables failed to update.”, did you receive an error?
What was different about the 2nd time you ran the plugin?
acctpay
yes I did receive an error when it tried to update the Custom tables created by plugins group. My thinking was because it has modified the siteurl & homeurl entries in the options table and then wasn’t able to continue updating the Custom tables. But yes, I had no issue after I ran it a second time because all that was left to change was the 2300 entries in the Custom tables area. All the others were already updated.

Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention!
We were able to recreate the issue and develop a solution to prevent this from happening in the future. Version 6.2.4 is now available which includes this fix, along with a few other improvements we had been working on.
Have a great night!
