Hi Mark,
Is the shortened title shown in the “Advanced Sidebar Menu” meta box when editing these pages?
Thank you.

“Is the shortened title shown in the “Advanced Sidebar Menu” meta box when editing these pages?”
no, the box is not showing at all.
it says at very top of the page edit page
“Advanced Sidebar Menu requires Advanced Sidebar Menu PRO version 8.3.2+. Please update or deactivate the PRO version. ”
but that means that everything stops working as soon as the plugin is not updated, weather i want to keep paying for it or not, all other plugins keep working & still keep the amendments.
OnPoint Plugins
Hi Mark,
Every once in a while we publish an update to the basic version of the plugin which requires the PRO version to be updated for them to continue to work together. We try to give ample time to update plugins before a releasing a version with a new requirement. As PRO version 8.3 was released back in February and the basic version of the plugin which requires version 8.3.2 was released 6 days ago, we believed 7 months would be long enough for users to receive updates.
If you update your PRO version, the functionality will be restored and you will be able to set the title using the box mentioned above.
If for some reason you would prefer not to update the PRO version, you may downgrade to version 8.5.0 of the basic plugin.
As WordPress 5.8 made some changes to the widget screens, we recommend you update to the latest version of PRO and basic to support the new widgets. You may also turn on auto updates for both versions. If you are using auto updates for the basic version, it is strongly recommended that you turn on auto updates for the PRO version as well.
Have a great night!
