Honor Woocommerce Category Sort Order

Greetings…

I want no sorting at all when setting up my sidebar categories. I want the categories to show up as the custom sort that I have employed.

How can I do that?

Hi Rob,

If you are using the default Woocommerce sorting for categories you can make the widget display in that order by selecting “Name” as the Order By option.

If you want force all widgets to use the Woocommerce sorting you may add the following to your active theme’s functions.php file.

<?php add_filter( 'advanced-sidebar-menu/menus/category/order-by', function () { return 'name'; }, 11, 1 );
