Menu Isn’t Showing up and Style Colours are locked and won’t change

Resolved

Requested: 3 years and 2 months ago

I have just purchased the Pro plugin.  Two things:  firstly the menu widget isn’t showing up at all on the page and secondly, I am trying to change the Style Colours but it appears to be locked and won’t allow me to change any colour options. Please assist.

Plugin: Advanced Sidebar Menu

    Hi Desmond,

To address the first issue, it appears you simply need to check “Display widget on every page” to get it to show with your currently selected options.

For the issue with the color being locked, that is one I haven’t see before. Do you have any console errors you can share? Otherwise, if you would like to provide a temporary administrator account through the Private Information, I can take a look at your widget’s page and see what is going on.

    Have a great night!

Hi Mat  thanks for that.  Can you please help me with one more issue.  I’m trying to replicate, using your plugin, the following existing side bar menu (eg. https://mccolmmatsingerlawyers.com.au/15-step-guide-purchasing-property-brisbane-ebook-2/) which isn’t collapsible.  But I’ve tried following your documentation but I only seem to be getting one page showing in the menu.  Please refer to the current page I’m on where I’m trying to set up your plugin  https://mccolmmatsingerlawyers.com.au/resourceslinks/

    Hi Desmond,

It appears the example menu is using a “Navigation Menu” widget which suggest you probably already have a menu created with those items which makes things easier.

Please give the following steps a try:

    1. Create a new widget using the “Advanced Sidebar Navigation Menu” widget.
    2. Using the “Select Menu” drop-down, select the same menu as the example widget.
    3. Enter the title as “Areas Of Law”.
    4. Check “Enable accordion menu”
    5. Using the “Bullet style” drop-down, select “None”
    6. Use any desired style options to change the look and feel of the menu.

Let me know if you would like my help styling the menu the match the example one exactly for thing like borders, etc.

    Have a great weekend!

    Mat Lipe
