Make Top Level Category Links Not Clickable

Resolved

Requested: 1 month and 2 weeks ago

But the thing I am trying to figure out is to have the settings on my main menu translate to the sidebar menu. I have set the categories/labels to not be clickable in my main menu through the menu settings area because clicking those went to an ugly category page. This works great in the top menu but the menu ported to the side through ASM does not inherit this behavior. Can you think of any way to get the top categories of every section non-clickable? I’m using the Blocksy theme, btw.

    Hi Brady,

It sounds like you might be looking for “Use links for open/close” accordion option.

If you enable this option then set it to “Highest level parent item”, it will allow the top level categories to be clickable to open/close the menu section without actually browsing to the category.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
