I first installed the free version and now just bought and installed Go Live Pro.
Now I have 2 those 2 plugins installed. Is that normal and does the free version still need to be there? Or could I delete the free one and go on with the Paid?

Yes, both plugins are required to be installed and active as the PRO version builds on the functionality provided by the basic version.
