Members plugin: Hide pages if user doesn’t have access

Resolved

Requested: 10 months and 4 days ago

Hi there. I asked this question in the WP forum: We use the Members plugin to control user roles on our site. Using the content permissions feature, I can restrict content. Is there any way your plugin can be set to hide pages the user or role doesn’t have access to?

Your answer was: This may be accomplished using some creative filters. It is a little complex and a bit beyond what we can provide for free plugin support. If you are a PRO user, please submit a support request and our support team will guide you through adding the filters.

Are you able to assist me?

    Hi Adroit,

You may exclude the pages a user does not have access to form the “Advanced Sidebar – Pages” widget by adding the following filters to your active theme’s functions.php file.

One thing worth noting is if a page is hidden in the menu it’s children will also be hidden in the menu due to having no parent to display under.

    Have a great night!
