Always display next level of categories

We are unable to do the following.

Example:

We have the following structure

main category
-subcategory 1
-subcategory 2
— subcategory 1
— subcategory 2
— subcategory 3
-subcategory 3
— subcategory 4
— subcategory 5

Now we want to make a left sidebar

When clicking on main category, the -subcategory must be displayed. In the example, there are 3.

If you then click on the -subcategory, on the next page on the left only the –subcategory should be displayed.
Then there are 5.

How do we do this.

The system must therefore always display the current subcategories.

This may be accomplished via some creative filters.
1. Update to version 8.0.2 of the basic plugin.
2. Add the following filters to your active theme’s functions.php.
