custom post types not showing a sidebar

I have a custom post type that I have created using a plugin called toolset. When I add the side bar using elementor none of the pages show up on the side bar. The options i selected is

    Are you attempting to display a list of categories or the custom post type?

    1. If you would like to display categories on this page, the following options are required:
      1. Display widget on every page.
      2. Top level parent Category to use for this widget.
    2. If you would like to show a list of pages from this custom post type:
      1. Switch the widget to the “Advanced Sidebar Pages Menu” widget.
      2. Select the post type.
      3. If there is not a hierarchy available for this page you may use the following options to make the widget display:
        1. Display widget on every page.
        2. Top level parent Page to use for this widget.
