Hi, Mat!
I have a conflict between Advanced Sidebar Menu PRO and the Beaver Themer plugin and I haven’t been able to diagnose what is causing the conflict.
I created a clone of our site at https://www.mcht2.org/login
I have deactivated all plugins except:
Advanced Sidebar Menu
Advanced Sidebar Menu PRO
Beaver Builder Plugin (Pro Version)
Beaver Themer
Force Login
I have cleared all caches via the Settings : Beaver Builder : Tools
When I activate only Advanced Sidebar Menu and add that widget to this Beaver themer layout <http://mcht2.org/fl-theme-layout/test/?fl_builder> from the Modules : Group : WordPress Widgets : Advanced Sidebar Menu, the widget is added to the row and the Widget settings box is available. It works great!
However, when I activate Advanced Sidebar Menu PRO, the widget is not added and the settings box is empty.
I reached out to the Beaver Builder support developers and got this response:

Hi Jay,
Thanks for reaching out.
I’ve logged in to your site and went to that page to check on things.
The issue is with the colorpicker’s use in that Pro plugin it seems. Other widgets work just fine when I tested them in your Themer layout.
Beaver Builder uses the JS/JQuery version supplied by WP in order to remain compatible as best as possible. That Pro plugin might be loading their own and causing this incompatibility.
You should bring it up with them. If they have any questions about Beaver you can feel free to loop them into this ticket.

Does that make sense. Can you let me know how to proceed?

OnPoint Plugins
Hi Jay,
Our developers are currently on a retreat until Monday and will be able to take a look when they return.
In the meantime I can tell you the suggested culprit is incorrect as this plugin does not load a custom version of JQuery, nor replace any WordPress JavaScript.
Please provide links in the private information for us to download the following plugins:
This will allow us to test against the same versions you are using and verify the solution.
We’ll have a solution for you on Monday.
Have a great weekend!
OnPoint Plugins
Hi Jay,
I was able to track down the issue to a conflict with the way Beaver Builder loads the page editor and the most recent version of WordPress. In WordPress 5.5+ the translation handling within the color picker was changed to use a more global system, which caused an error to be thrown and the widget settings not to load.
I have patched this issue in version
8.1.2
of PRO which has been released just now. While I was in there, I noticed the styles have also updated in a recent version of Beaver Builder so I went ahead and cleaned up our plugins widget styles when loaded within Beaver Builder. This was completed in the basic plugin version
8.0.4
which has also been released just now.Updating both the PRO and basic versions will fix the issue, and give you a much better experience with Beaver Builder.
Have a great rest of your day!
Jay Collier
Thanks. It’s working now.
