Child pages displaying when should be hidden

Resolved

Requested: 4 years and 1 week ago

Hello,

All of our informational pages are children of our overall Articles page. There are so many of them that they really clutter up the sidebar menu. We have set them to be hidden. After the latest update(Version 3.4.8) I tested on our staging site I’ve noticed that they ALL are displaying now. I have uncheck the setting “Always display child pages” I don’t want to update our live site if this is how the menus will display. how do I keep these hidden?

    Hi Kristen,

Are you are using the “Exclude this page from the Advanced Sidebar Menus” checkbox? If so, I have confirmed the functionality is still present and working on version 3.4.8. Could you double check that the pages you expect to be hidden have this box checked?

Also, could you tell me which version you are updating from?

If you are hiding the pages another way, please explain it to me so I may assist?

    Have a great night!

    Mat Lipe
