Changes to Title in Advanced Sidebar are not saving.

Resolved

Requested: 1 year and 6 months ago

When I update the Title for a page on my site, the updated name does not save. It appears to save when I click the “update” button. But if I refresh the page, WordPress reverts to the previous Title value.

    Hi Doug,

Looking at the page you provided, it appears a custom title of “6th Edition (2021)” is currently being used for the page. Is this the title which appears to have not been saved or was this a previously saved title? I’m working to narrow down if data is actually being saved and not reflected in the setting, or if the data is not been saved at all.

Could you please post the contents from the browser console after you have clicked “Update”?

Or even better, if you could provide us temporary administrator access to your site via the Private Information, that would be super helpful for us to track the issue down.

    Hello –

Yes, “6th Edition 2021” is a custom title. But for some reason, I cannot change it. I’m trying to change it to “AutoCAD 2021 (6th ed)“.

I’ve posted the console log (Google Chrome) in the Private section.

Thanks for your help. – Doug

    Hi Doug,

I’m afraid there is no helpful information from the browser console.

Would it be possible to get temporary administrator access to the site?

Sure. I’d be okay providing this.

Turns out we had a typo in the email address. The correct email is support@onpointplugins.com (notice the “s” at the end)
I realized the mistake when I reached the OTP screen. Can you please update the email to the correct one?

    Sorry for the typo.

Hello – I wanted to follow up and see if you were able to sign in to my WP site to check on this plugin?

Thank you for the access. I was able to sign in successfully and am now investigating.
