    Hi Mark,

You may remove the gap between categories by using the “Display each single post’s category” option.

    • Selecting “In another list in the same widget” will combine the categories into the same widget structure.

More information may be found here.

    Have a great day!

thank you, i wanted to have just one link on all pages to the main “categories” category, but when i tried this i couldnt get rid of all the other categories, the main parent category is “articles”

    i have ticked

Display the highest level parent category

Display menu when there is only the parent category

    Display categories on single posts

    Display widget on every page

    & unticked

    Always display child categories

i cant see what im missing, because there is nothing else to change anything, i just want 1 link to the main “categories” category, so that the urls get indexed.

    Hi Mark,

There is no menu setting to remove the child pages, however you may hide them with a little custom CSS.

    Have a great night!
