Advanced Sidebar Category Menu – Display menu items by creation date

Hi Cain,

Currently the ordering options are for categories and do not affect the order of posts. There is a task logged to add options for ordering of the displayed posts as well, but it has not been added to an active sprint yet so I don’t have a release date available.

In the meantime, you may adjust the order of the displayed posts by adding the following filter to your active theme’s functions.php file:
