Adding the number of posts in each category

Resolved

Requested: 1 year and 6 months ago

I have 2 questions for the category widget:

1) How can I add the number of posts in each category instead of displaying each post name
2) If a post belong to a category, then to its subcategory, then to its sub-sub-category, how can I display the post name only on the sub-sub-category?

Thanks for this great plugin

    Hi Alain,

    1. To display the count of posts within a category, you may add the following filter to your active theme’s functions.php file.

    2. Because the menu is generated from the top down there is currently no good way to detect which posts are going to display at the bottom level when generating the top level. The best I can suggest is to select the “grandchildren” level for the “Display assigned posts under” option.

    Have a great weekend!

Thanks a lot.  I put it in DIVI Functions.php,  is it better to put it in DIVI_ULTIMATE Functions.php

Is the a tweak to put the number right next to the Category name
