Accordion items in Elementor ‘popup’ have multiple dashicons appearing

Resolved

Requested: 1 year and 7 months ago

Hello again

When I use the Advanced Sidebar Menu plugin in a ‘popup’ (as Elementor defines them) it usually (90% of the time) displays with repeated dashicons (the arrows used to open/close the accordion).

Note the the fix of the dashicons not opening/closing from the last support request has been implemented  and it did fix that issue. It doesn’t however seem to be the cause of this problem as it still occurs after disabling the JS addition.

I could theoretically hide all but the first dashicon with CSS but that’s not the point…

Kind regards
Adrian

    Hi Adrian,

Turns out Elementor is firing it’s frontend/element_ready/widget hook many times inside of popups instead of the expected 1 time per widget.

We have adjusted the accordions JavaScript in version 8.5.2 of PRO which gracefully handles this anomaly.

Please update to the latest version of the plugin to resolve the issue.

    Have a great day!
