Version 8.3.0 of the Advanced Sidebar Menu plugin is now available and ready for general use. The purpose of this version was to add translation support for both French and Spanish languages.
Expanding Supported Languages
Although several languages have been available from wordpress.org for quite some time, until now the only languages supported internally within the plugin have been English and German. When I say “internally” I mean the complete language files ship with each version of the plugin and load automatically based on a site’s language.
Version 8.3.0 added support for the following additional languages:
- French (fr_FR).
- Spanish (es_ES).
For the first time we’ve also translated the plugin’s readme file so it may show up translated on the French and Spanish versions of wordpress.org. We’ve also added our translations to the wordpress.org system, so they are available via the various translation systems.
