Some Items Missing From Menus

It appears that somehow the data which holds the list of excluded pages does not match the expected format. According the to results of the excluded pages the following pages are currently excluded from all menus.

1. School History
2. Principal’s Message
3. Vision and Mission
4. Staff

However, when I look at the meta data on the individual pages, they are currently not set to be excluded.

So far I have been unable to explain exactly how this happened but my guess is that a while back a fix/improvement was made to properly delete the meta data when a page is not excluded which was missed due to the plugin not being active for a while.

The first thing to try is to go the pages listed above and complete the following process.

1. Edit the page
2. Mark the “Excluded” toggle to excluded within the “Advanced Sidebar” panel.
3. Click “Update” to save the page.
4. Mark the “Excluded” toggle to not excluded with the “Advanced Sidebar” panel.
5. Click “Update” to save the page.

If that doesn’t work, it would be super helpful if you could provide us either temporary site access or a database dump through the private information so we can take a closer look.

We have experienced something similar on at least three websites within the last few weeks, where we lose the sidebar out of the blue for only one section of a site. The plugin has been active the entire time, so we think it is due to a recent plugin update. The fix explained above works for us, but we have to do it on the Parent page of the section that is missing the sidebar and it fixes the child pages.
