Single post pages

Hi there,

I have custom posts types and custom taxonomies, all the posts are classed as “Single Post” pages.

The only way I can get the menu to show up on my posts is by selecting “Display categories on single post’s category”.

I can see the menu shows up but it only shows categories of the current category, is there a way to show posts as well as the categories in the menu on single post pages?

I think I got it working, is it possible to remove the categories highighted in red?

Hi Dion,

You may remove all first child items from the menu, which are not direct parents or grandparent, with the following custom JavaScript.

jQuery( function() { jQuery('.advanced-sidebar-menu-wrap .child-sidebar-menu > li' ).not(':has(.current-cat)' ).remove() });
