show child posts under parent posts

Resolved

Requested: 6 years and 8 months ago

Hi Mat

Happy New Year!! I hope you are well. I have a new query, basically the menu lists all categories of a post type in an accordion called resources and their related posts. This works great. The client has now asked for some child posts to appear in the menu under a parent post and the parent post to display a plus icon to drop down to reveal the child posts.

so on the link, facility design should only be listed under its parent post ‘guidelines for rehabilitation practice centre design’ in the menu.

I hope i’m making sense, i have listed the url in the private info section and also logins to view the private content. If you need to access the backend let me know and i’ll setup logins for you.

Many thanks

Tamara

    Hi Tamara,

I have now added a new action to the plugin to make this possible called advanced-sidebar-menu-pro/walker/display-posts/post-element . It is available in version 3.4.6.

To display the child posts under the parent posts, you will need to add the following filter to your active theme’s functions.php file.

    Have a great day!

    Mat Lipe
