Login URL has not changed after updating to the new URL

Resolved

Requested: 1 year and 6 months ago

I changed the URL to my website using the Pro version.  The Login URL in the Settings screen is the old URL, and the Redirection URL is the old URL.  Both Are grayed out, and I cannot change them.  The URL below will redirect to the old URL.

What can be done?

Thanks

    Hi Thomas,

Since the Go Live Update Urls plugin does not include a “Login URL” or “Redirection URL” in any of its settings, I’m going to need a little more information to offer suggestions.

    1. Do you know which plugin or theme you are using which provides the Login and Redirection URL?
    2. Could you perhaps include a screenshot of the greyed out settings?

    Thank you.

I sent the screen shot via the email.

I use Astra and Elementor for my pages and Ultimate Member for login. When I change the /bitnami/wordpress/wp-config.php (WP_HOME and WP_SITEURL) with the new URL I get the too many redirects error.I would have assumed the plugin would have changed /bitnami/wordpress/wp-config.php fields, but it does not seem to.

    Hi Thomas,

The first thing I’m noticing is the domain is being redirected twice before ending up back at the original domain. This is most likely due to a configuration in one of these locations.

    1. Redirects configured on the server.
    2. Within an .htaccess file.
    3. Using a 301 redirects plugin (least likely as I don’t see this in your sidebar).

Once these redirects are removed, your site should load at any of the below mentioned domains. At that point you’ll be able to update the values in the wp-config.php file.
