change all domain links

Resolved

Requested: 3 years and 10 months ago

Hi, I’ve updated my live site from a staging site. Now I need to change all staging urls to non-staging urls.

So:

staging4.mysite.com/postxyz

to

mysite.com/postxyz

Must I change each individual url? Or is there a way I can change in bulk all the “staging4.” prefixes, without affecting the individual page and post addresses?

Thanks!

    Hi Danno,

If you run the plugin with the following settings, all URL which start with staging4.mysite.com will change to the same URL starting with mysite.com:

    1. Old URL: staging4.mysite.com
    2. New URL: mysite.com

The only consideration is all URL will change, not just URL with a path like /postxyz. So if you have some URL with paths which you still want to start with staging4.mysite.com you’ll need to run the plugin with each path one at a time like so:

    1. Old URL: staging4.mysite.com/postxyz
    2. New URL: mysite.com/postxyz.

    Have a great night!
