Cache for lot of categories

You may use any page caching plugin to cache the finished page markup to speed up load time. The one we recommend is WP Super Cache.

Otherwise, if you would like to cache this specific widget, it may be accomplished by adding the following actions to your active theme’s functions.php file:

Note: These actions assume your site is only using 1 category widget which is the same on every page it is being used.
