Back and Forward for pages

This is not supported by this plugin, however I may be able to write you a snippet to get you started.

When you say “next page in the hierarchy and the one before”, are you referring to:

1. The first child page and the parent page? or
2. The page which comes right after the current page and the page which comes right before the current page, under the same parent?

Here is a snippet which will output a simple <ul> list of links which include the page right before the current page and the page right after:

'">' . esc_html( get_the_title( $_before ) ) . '</a></li>'; } if ( ! empty( $_after ) ) { echo '<li><a href="' . esc_url( get_permalink( $_after ) ) . '">' . esc_html( get_the_title( $_after ) ) . You may put this inside a shortcode, widget, template, etc.
