Accordion display customizations

Hi There,

I am having trouble getting the accordion to open up to the selected post. If I want to see where the post is nested in the side bar, I need to physically open it up with the arrow icons. I would like it to open up automatically and cannot find an option to do that.

Also this site’s categories goes 5 levels. Currently the posts are appearing under the grandchildren. They should only appear under the great grandchildren (4th level).

Hi Garth,

If you un-check the “Keep all accordion sections closed until clicked” option, the accordion will automatically open to the selected post or category when the page loads.

You may force the posts to show up only under the 4th level by adding the following filter to your active theme’s functions.php:

<?php add_filter( 'advanced-sidebar-menu-pro/walker/display-posts/get-post-args', function ( $args, $term, $depth ) { if ( 0 === $depth || 1 === $depth ) { return [ 'post__in' => [ 0 ] ]; } return $args; }, 10, 3 );

Note: This filter will only work if you have “Always display child categories” checked; which you currently do.
