Simple Links PRO shortcode

Resolved

Requested: 11 months and 3 weeks ago

I’m trying to figure out how to customize Simple Links PRO shortcodes, but can’t find any documentation. Can you give me an example of a shortcode that includes all possible configuration options? I’d like to use a shortcode to show the 10 most recent headlines from a specific category, for example.

You’ve mentioned a “shortcode generation form” — I’m not finding that.

    Hi Theodore,

All of the shortcode options may be found here and here.

The widget generation form has been deprecated and will be removed in a future version. Right now it is still available within the “Classic” editor by clicking the blue link icon:

If you are working inside page/post content and have Gutenberg enabled, there is a block which may be used instead of a shortcode which is much easier to test out options.

    Hope this helps!
